Position Summary:   

The Training Programs Specialist will work with Virtuoso Preferred Partners to record webinars, receive and manage prerecorded video and audio, as well as compile collateral for inclusion into a final product called web15.  Web15 is comprised of webinars, videos, audio files and downloadable material.  This position will be responsible for working with our partners to put multiple components together and pass on for final packaging via Adobe Captivate. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Host and record webinars for partners as part of the web15 package.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical, scheduling, and content issues in real-time.
  3. Coordinate scheduling of partners to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of web15.
  4. Review all necessary presentation material with speaker(s), handle webinar. practice run and speaker preparation.
  5. Review recording and convert to MP4 using GoToWebinars converter.
  6. Ensure all components of partner web15 are received.
  7. Load partner collateral to S3 server and validate links.
  8. Load all final components to destination folder for finalization in Adobe Captivate.
  9. Compiling/consulting on module content, reviewing/editing scripts, and project managing production of module.
  10. Enhancing VTA library by creating curricula based on webinar recordings and Web15 content, including re-packaging LEAPs and series.
  11. Consulting with suppliers on webinar content and best practices.
  12. Hosting/presenting supplier-focused webinars on best practices and network engagement.
  13. Coordinating other advisor-focused series (similar to Lunch & Learn), including organizing guest presentations, brainstorming topics, etc.
  14. Some travel may be required (domestic).


Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree highly desired
  • 3+ years' experience in a client or customer service oriented position
  • Experience using Adobe Captivate v7 or higher highly desired
  • Employment/education history reflecting successful training and/or presentation experience 
  • Proven project management skills
  • Experience with or ability to quickly become proficient with GotoWebinar
  • Detail-oriented; anticipates problems before they happen
  • Effective communicator: in-person, phone, and via email
  • Strong self-starter, ability to take initiative; seeks ways to improve the business
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team setting and across cultures with clients around the globe
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in multiple time zones (including international) and some evenings
  • Proficiency in Business Computer Applications
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to constant change


Type/Nature of Contacts:

External:  Contact with various external contacts, including Preferred Partners.
Internal:  Daily contact with Virtuoso staff.
