The successful Analyst, Business Intelligence is someone who is continually seeking to improve upon what we are doing as an organization. Someone willing to think outside the box and bring new and innovative solutions to the table, open to change, and excited to transform a business with new insights. Someone who can open their mind and collaborate with other analysts on the team and business facing experts to provide analysis that is informing and actionable. Someone that thinks "What can we be doing?" rather than "What do you need me to do?".

The day-to-day asks of this position will be a balance between leading the creation and improvement of analysis for company initiatives that already exist, and an exploration of opportunities we can take advantage of.


Key Responsibilities:

Measuring Effectiveness

  • Digital and Print marketing effectiveness
  • Targeted communication optimization
  • Campaign performance tracking
  • A-B concept testing

Discovering Opportunity - Utilize consumer travel data to perform:

  • Consumer acquisition / lookalike analysis
  • Product development
  • Travel Agency selection/location optimization

Benchmarking and Forecasting

  • Traveler and Advisor segmentation analysis
  • Advisor and traveler lifetime value analysis
  • KPI creation and tracking
  • Predictive behavioral analysis

Data Validation

  • Quality assurance on our current reporting
  • Optimizing our benchmarking and standards we currently use


Educational & Skill Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in data analytics, business or quantitative field preferred
  2. Advanced knowledge of SQL and/or Python, R, SAS etc. (5+ years)
  3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  4. Experience measuring print and digital marketing campaigns (5+ years)
  5. Experience using data visualization and dashboard software (DOMO, Tableau, Power BI)
  6. Thinking going beyond the query. Be creative with solutions to use internal and external data sources to support business decisions.
