This Account Manager, Partner Relations strives for and supports the successful execution of preferred partner account development and engagement optimization. Account Managers will work with the global account team to assist in providing input for the design and implementation of the market regional business plan, as it relates to account management to maximize Virtuoso's performance in market. This role directly manages assigned regional partner accounts to ensure the annual production and revenue goals are achieved and partner engagement is maximized.

Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver Canada are the preferred locations for this position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Providing input into the regional business plan and budget.
  2. Supports delivery and execution of the regional business plan.
  3. Ensuring compliance with the Virtuoso "playbook".
  4. Delivery of the key performance metrics as outlined in the Regional Business Plan.
  5. Accountability for assigned regional partner accounts including business development, marketing plan creation and execution, contract negotiation, and day to day sales service needs.
  6. Present and sell marketing and engagement opportunities to designated accounts
  7. Proactive interdepartmental engagement.
  8. Proactive account analysis and market assessment
  9. Achieve and exceed individual goals and revenue targets and contribute to departmental goals and revenue targets
  10. Attendance at member conferences & meetings as required
  11. Provide a regular manager update to include annual partner sales forecast, overall partner sales performance, and market trends etc.
  12. Maintain production reporting and credit/billing tracking for regional partners
  13. Create and manage orientation program for incoming regional partners
  14. Assist Operations team with conflict resolution between member and regional partners
  15. Ensure regional partners' products and information is accurately loaded by partner and available to view on
  16. Liaise with appropriate internal departments to resolved related technical issues
  17. Attend industry functions and events as required, which may take place outside normal business hours


  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Travel & Tourism or Marketing.
  • 3-5 years of related work experience including industry experience, understanding of the market and experience contributing to team performance

Travel Requirements

  • 30%+ of time for this role will be spent travelling, visiting partners, attending events, conferences, and team meetings.
  • Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.

  • Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with the account team, the Marketing Manager and General Manager (market).
  • External: Majority of time spent in market with Partners.
