Position Summary: The Program Manager, Business Growth Opportunities will be responsible for the implementation of program management for Business Growth products for Virtuoso's member agencies, travel advisors and preferred partners, and identifying and coordinating the interdependencies across a highly talented matrixed team of marketing and training specialists, event planners, and subject matter experts from around the company.

Business Growth products are those with bundled component packages usually consisting of marketing, training, and events aimed at increasing network sales and often including some level of enrollment.

Virtuoso's program management leaders work closely with product managers and department leaders to drive product goals forward and maintain internal program performance. Deeply knowledgeable about our industry and customers, the product management team bridges the technical and business worlds to develop products that our customers love.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Implement the program management of Business Growth products serving Virtuoso's member agencies, travel advisors and preferred partners.
  2. Align with Product Manager on outcomes and KPIs to measure the product's success and meet long-term business objectives.
  3. Develop and manage detailed project plans, scope program deliverables, and drive complex timelines.
  4. Drive improvements for streamlining operational processes.
  5. Collect and compile product evaluation via customer feedback and data analysis.
  6. Liaise with Operations and Technology teams to resolve issues and identify enhancement opportunities for internal and external customers.
  7. Liaise with Partnerships team to train on existing or new Business Growth product offerings and program management processes.
  8. Liaise with Marketing team to determine needs for Business Growth products including the development of effective sales materials and communication plans.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders (marketing, training, technology, sales, business intelligence, and operations), and external agencies and vendors to complete initiatives on time. Responsible for clearly articulating responsibilities, activities, and deadlines to teams.
  10. Understand and stay current on travel, tourism, events, technology, operational best practices, Virtuoso's diverse customers and operations.
  11. Evangelize Product Management practices and help the team grow into positions of influence and scale.
  12. Collaborate with peers and PM management to model a strong, effective product culture and best practices for the product discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4-7 years of Program Management or Project Management experience
  • Experience collaborating with a matrixed product team
  • Demonstrated track record of success in cross-departmental collaboration and communication
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously

Travel Requirements

  • Travel is rarely required for this position
  • Any travel will be entirely domestic
