Position Summary: The Sr. Manager, Strategic Program Management will oversee Virtuoso's cross-Enterprise initiatives, as well as serve as a subject matter expert in Virtuoso's emerging Program Management activities.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Leads Strategic Programs
    1. Planning, tracking, coordinating delivery and achieving goals of Strategic Programs from start to finish
    2. Manages every aspect of strategic programs from initiation to maintenance
    3. Initiation activities will include working with SVP-Strategy and other Virtuoso Executives to identify program opportunities and goals
    4. Implementation activities will help launch programs and touch on related divisional activities, including but not limited to Operations, Product and Marketing
  2. Program Management excellence
    1. Serves as a contact point for establishing best practices for Virtuoso's emerging Program Management activities in the Strategy & Network Products division
  3. Develop and manage detailed project plans, scope program deliverables, and drive complex timelines.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, technology, and operations), and external agencies and vendors to complete initiatives on time. Responsible for assigning resources, assessing risks, and clearly articulating responsibilities, activities, and deadlines to teams.
  5. Liaise with Product Marketing division to proof materials for accuracy.
  6. Liaise with Operations division to define new process, train on new or upgraded features, and resolve issues.
  7. Liaise with Partnerships division to train on new or upgraded features, resolve and triage issues.
  8. Act as escalation point for issues/questions.
  9. Deliver transparent and comprehensive reporting on success metrics.
  10. Drive improvements for streamlining operational processes.
  11. Understand and stay current on travel, tourism, technology, operational best practices, Virtuoso's diverse customers and Virtuoso's competitive landscape.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 4-7 years of relevant Program Management experience and subject matter expertise on best practices
  • Travel Industry experience preferred

Travel Requirements

  • Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year)
  • Travel will be entirely domestic.
