Position Summary:  The Account Representative, US & Canada, has an overall goal to support the US & Canada GMP team and members in achieving annual network sales and engagement goals. This role will manage the day to day service and support for National Accounts and members, guide new member onboarding to support growth in the US and Canada, and provide support for the team. This includes developing and maintaining member and product reports and data, managing department communications and materials, assisting in scheduling team and member meetings as well as events, and providing overall administrative support for Virtuoso member agencies and the GMP US and Canada team.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be

assigned.

  1. Provide support for assigned member accounts. Collaborate with US/CA team to align growth and profitability plans with Virtuoso's sales, professional development and marketing programs.
  2. Provide Account Management support for assigned National Accounts. Support Virtuoso's National Account program with a focus on engagement and effective use of Virtuoso products and services, preferred partners and Virtuoso events.
  3. Own, manage and respond to questions/issues/inquiries from Members. Provide outstanding customer service to members and support Regional Directors and Account Managers as appropriate
  4. Participates in and supports the development and implementation of new member onboarding. Support the management of new members/branches to increase growth, involvement and engagement in the network.
  5. Participates in and supports the development and implementation of new advisor onboarding to set involvement and engagement in the network.
  6. Member Communications:
    • Develop, manage, and maintain Owner/Manager and Department content on Virtuoso Website.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, collateral and presentations for member sales calls and events.
    • Develop content and create Executive Update/department bi-weekly communication and other member communications.
    • Coordinate with Corporate Communications on campaigns and customized messages to agency owners/managers and advisors.
    • Develop, manage and maintain distribution list for all Owner/Manager communications.
    • Maintain schedule and manage Network calls.
  7.  Represent the team on internal and member committees including managing communications, roll out plans, reporting and documentation as requested.
  8. Assist in developing Member Agency Business Summaries, Strategic Collaboration Process and recommendations to support the US/CA Member Partnership team in maximizing member engagement and communicate member needs to the Virtuoso organization.
  9. Assist in conducting research and surveys with Members in the US and Canada and create supporting reports to provide information needed for developing meeting agendas and content, program recommendations, database audit, and develop new programs, products and services.
  10. Provide feedback from members to help Virtuoso departments adapt services, benefits, and products needed to fulfill Member and consumer needs. 
  11. Support member visits and events as needed. Travel may be required both domestic and international
  12. Department Support: Provide support for the Vice President, Director, Regional Directors, and Account Managers as requested, including scheduling and coordination of meetings, distribution of agendas, taking and distributing meeting notes and managing expense reports.
  13. Support the team with any other deliverables or additional duties to achieve division goals. 
  14. Some travel may be required.

Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years related experience, travel industry experience highly desired.
  • Highly motivated, results driven individual with a work history reflecting the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse organization.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve independently in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in working with a variety of customer needs and skills, ranging from visionary company owners to detail-oriented back office accountants. Ability to relate well to individuals on one-to-one basis, including in telephone relationships and group presentation settings.
  • Highly proficient in MSWord, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to successfully multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in fast paced, deadline driven environment.

 

Type/Nature of Contacts:

External:  Daily contact with agency owners/managers, front-Line advisors, vendors and partners, industry organizations and prospective Members

Internal:  Daily contact with Virtuoso management and staff
