Virtuoso Wanderlist is an industry game-changer that helps clients fulfill their travel dreams by mapping out future travels into a thoughtful travel plan. This new position will play a key role in guiding clients and advisors through the planning process. The Wanderlist Guide will help foster deeper discussions, uncover unique insights and support a new level of human connection. The ideal candidate will succeed if they are organized, technologically savvy, excellent at collaborating, can build trust and connections with people quickly and have traveled internationally.


Position Summary: The Virtuoso Wanderlist Advisor plays a key role in helping travel advisors and clients work together to create their travel dreams bucket list. Provides expertise in portfolio planning and in guiding the clients and advisor's conversation through program best practices. This position supports and reinforces the human connection aspect of travel, where clients can get inspired, make plans and then experience their most important moments while connecting with loved ones and fulfilling their travel dreams.


Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All duties completed based on an hourly service rate and are decided by the member. 

  1. Work with Members/travel advisors to share the Wanderlist program with their clients. Explain program benefits, what to expect from the process and the roles that everybody will play to serve the client in their portfolio planning.
  2. Work with admin to ensure accounts are created, invitation emails are sent, and the process stays on track.
  3. Review client curation results and format list of deep dive questions to ask. Review list with travel advisor to learn any important details about client that advisor already knows.
  4. Facilitate conversation about clients curation results, travel goals and reasons for travel.
  5. Work with Advisor to offer insight as they select destinations to recommend.
  6. Review recommendations with client and make adjustments based on relevant feedback.
  7. Write executive summary.
  8. Hand off client's portfolio to travel advisor to execute upon.
  9. Offer ongoing support to travel advisor and client over the year as requested.
  10. At the time of annual review, collect recap from travel advisor and facilitate annual discussion about changes to travel goals, life stage, and portfolio plans for the upcoming year.
  11. Some travel may be required.


Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Solid background in luxury travel or similar experience
  • Experience coaching and or guiding people to find creative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through collaboration
  • Must be technologically savvy
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Well organized self-starter, able to work very effectively with limited supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to provide options and solutions
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
